Look at the rating badge on the front of the box.

• An ESRB box, black and white with a letter in it, means a North American copy. Canadian copies have the same front with a bilingual back.
• A PEGI square with the age in it means a European copy. Italy, Netherlands and Spain had boxes of their own for the same cartridge.
• A USK square (ab 6, 12, 16 or 18) means a German copy. Germany rates games itself instead of using PEGI.
• A CERO letter (A, B, C, D or Z) means a Japanese copy.

A complete PAL copy sells for 20 € in France, £24 in the United Kingdom and 29 € in Germany. Within the eurozone, it costs 47% more in Germany than in France.
