Look at the rating badge on the front of the box.

• An ESRB box, black and white with a letter in it, means a North American copy. Canadian copies have the same front with a bilingual back.
• A PEGI square with the age in it means a European copy. France, Italy and Spain had boxes of their own for the same cartridge.
• A USK square (ab 6, 12, 16 or 18) means a German copy. Germany rates games itself instead of using PEGI.

A sealed PAL copy sells for £33 in the United Kingdom, 37 € in France and 42 € in Germany.
