Look at the rating badge on the front of the box.

• An ESRB box, black and white with a letter in it, means a North American copy. Canadian copies have the same front with a bilingual back.
• A PEGI square with the age in it means a European copy. Australia had a box of its own for the same cartridge.
• The Australian classification mark (G, PG, M, MA 15+ or R 18+) means an Australian copy, which is PAL like Europe's.
• A CERO age mark means a Japanese copy.
